Dorosinski & Clark is a firm that is engaged in the practice of creating elegant urban space by working in the disciplines of design, mixed use development, residential and commercial building and land use consulting. The principles of the firm and our staff have spent their careers
working in these disciplines either individually or over the last two decades collectively. We believe that it is this integration that leads to as Andrea Palladio stated in 1580 “Housing that should be beautiful, useful and durable.” It is our firm’s commitment and passion to bring the built environment into harmony with this vision. Our Design Discipline has three areas of practice. They are Residential, Additions and Remodeling and Commercial. Residential Design Practice is focused on Single Family Attached and Detached homes for individuals, design build firms and homebuilders. Additions and Remodeling Practice works with home owners that are considering updating their present home or home buyers purchasing homes who would like to update their new home to meet the new circumstances they face. Commercial Design practice serves office use, retail and mixed use from our offices in Virginia, Florida and Michigan. Our Mixed Use Development Discipline is focused on Adaptive reuse, Urban in fill and New Urban Design of new communities. Our Residential and Commercial Building Discipline is focused on building architecture driven by the vernacular of the geographic region in which the projects are located. The use of healthy building materials, energy efficiency and quality building materials in the structures we design and build for our clients. We also provide consulting to clients to manage projects from the design process, bid process and through the construction process. Our Land Use Consulting practice works with the Public and Private sector clients to implement sustainable and New Urban strategies in communities. We incorporate design tools, market research, economic analysis, product development and financial modeling to manage projects for clients. |
