Aurora Design Concept Award Winner

Aurora Awards
Dorosinski, Campbell Design Assoc., Inc. is pleased to announce that Sean Dorosinski, Principal, was awarded an Aurora for his design of a Greek Revival Residence. The 2007 Aurora Awards Gala in Orlando, Fl this past July was the setting for the Fourth Annual American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) Concept Awards presentation sponsored by Whirlpool and Andersen Windows. The Concept awards were presented to the top designers in the "Live Challenge" competition during the 29th Anniversary of the Southeast Building Conference. Derived from a fictitious client and building site, designers, architects and builders developed site plans, floor plans and exterior elevations on the SEBC trade show floor over a 12 hour period. Showcasing their "manual" design/drafting skills, the complete project was done on the drafting board and judged on presentation, design solution and completion.

Ruskin Heights Charrette Team

Ruskin Heights
In May, 2007, we joined the noted architecture firm of Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company (DPZ) along with a very select group of design firms from around the country to form an architectural charrette team. We were responsible for providing schematic designs for the entire TND of Ruskin Heights, a DPZ master planned community. Set in the scenic hills of northwest Arkansas, just a few miles from downtown Fayetteville, Ruskin Heights is a mixed-use community planned for a walk able, simple life. Distinctive architecture, diverse living and commercial arrangements, generous public spaces, and thoughtful amenities help create a community where life is neighborly, vibrant, and artful.

Haymount Town Architect

Haymount
In July, 2006, we were appointed as the official town architect for the TND of Haymount, a Traditional Neighborhood Development, master-planned by Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company (DPZ). Haymount lies along the Rappahannock River between Washington, DC and Richmond, VA about 15 minutes from Fredericksburg. Haymount is a completely new town to be built in the countryside, surrounded by a natural green-belt.
